I am bilingual spanish (native)/ english clinical neuropsychologist. I have vast experience in awake-patient brain surgeries (language mapping) and actually working on inpatient and outpatient evaluations in BI, Stroke, neurobehavioral disorders and Disorders of Consciousness programs in one of the best hospitals in the world.
I am an adjunct assistant professor at UT Health Science Center Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Houston Texas.
I receive patients from all over the world including Qatar, UAE, Canada, India, Colombia, Mexico and Honduras My work includes preserving language abilities during awake brain surgeries, neuropsychological assessments of brain injury patients of all complexities from classical brain injury neuropsychological evaluations to establishing communication systems with Disorders of consciousness patients in Vegetative state and minimally conscious states. I also do research in rare clinical presentations. I have served as consultant for world health entities and institutions such as World Bank,UNICEF, West Virginia University and Panamerican Health Organization.
